Dr. Adam Christopher is the Director of the Cardiac MRI and CT Program at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. He is passionate about delivering high-quality, accessible imaging to pediatric and adult congenital cardiac patients with the goal of improving patient outcomes. Dr. Christopher’s experience in researching existing and novel cardiac imaging techniques has provided him with the skills necessary to apply the highest scientific rigor to Dr. Kuhn’s research. He was integral to the imaging protocol development of Dr. Kuhn’s mechanistic clinical trial of beta-blocker administration for reactivating cardiomyocytes and has served as co-investigator since the trial’s inception. Dr. Christopher will serve as the PI at the Pittsburgh site as the study moves to a multi-center model.
