Research technician
Cailynn Gregory is a National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute's Diversity Supplement recipient. She is currently collaborating with Dr. Yao Li on the clinical trial to administer β-blockers with the aim of promoting heart muscle cell division in infants diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot . Her main contribution to this research is producing visual analysis of digital photomicrographs, assisting with small animal surgeries, and analysis of myocardial fibrosis and scar formation.
